AAPK Statement of Purpose
• To be an accessible, efficient and transparent organisation providing valued services to members
• Facilitate and promote communication between members,leadership and the Kinesiology community
• Support and represent members and be responsive to their needs
• Develop and promote Kinesiology
• Provide leadership and facilitate unity within the profession
• To achieve national standards for Kinesiology education and practice that are internationally recognised and endorsed by regulators, educators, employers and the Kinesiology profession
• Set and maintain standards
• Uphold the core values of Kinesiology
• To support Australian Kinesiologists to maximize their potential to provide best practice in Kinesiology
• To have a unified national business plan & structure which operates on best business principles
• To facilitate fellowship within Kinesiology
• To teach and promote Kinesiology in the community
• To be a not-for-profit association minimising costs and reinvesting any income into the teaching and promotion of Kinesiology
• Each member will have only one vote. Each vote has equal value
